BMW has published a teaser of a new conceptual Roadster

The Bavarian brand will bring to the Contest of elegance at pebble beach, the forerunner of the Z4 Roadster of the third generation.

BMW has published on his page in Facebook a teaser of the new concept Roadster is the forerunner of the revived model Z4. Public premiere of a prototype will take place on 17 August at the Competition of elegance in American pebble beach.

The concept car will be called to give an idea of the appearance of sporting Roadster of the third generation, which should go on sale in 2018 or 2019. Manufacture of machinery will establish on the Austrian company Magna Steyr.

At the moment, the novelty is known as internal factory index G29. In the development of the sports car took part Toyota, which will sell its own version for the first time with a body “coupe”. As expected, the Japanese version will revive the Supra name.

According to preliminary data, the basic version of the BMW Z4 successor will be equipped with two-liter petrol engine producing about 200 horsepower.
