The leadership of the BMW did not like the new “Mercedes”. Criticism of the newly minted X-Class – the first pickup in the company’s history (pictured).
In particular, in an interview with Motoring, senior Vice President of BMW’s Hendrik von Kuenheim called the truck “Mercedes” feeling.
“I think that X-Class turned out terrible. They can be to expect something more serious. I saw the car in Geneva and was disappointed. Very disappointed. They can do better. They make great cars, but this car was a disappointment”.
Representatives BMW have assured: if the company decides to produce its own pickup, that will do it much better than Mercedes.
