Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of violating ceasefire in Karabakh

The Ministry of defense of Azerbaijan accused Armenia of armed provocations in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in the message Department.

“The Ministry of defence reports that units of the armed forces of Armenia during the day violated the ceasefire regime in various directions of the front overall 117 times,” – said the defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

Also according to Baku, the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces were fired from the positions located near the “occupied chileburt villages of Terter district, Shuraabad, Bash karvend, Yusifjanli of Aghdam region, Kuropatkino of Khojavand, Horadiz, Ashaghi Veyselli of Fizuli district and Mehdili’s Jabrayil region, as well as from the positions deployed on the nameless heights in the territory of Goranboy, Terter, Agdam, Khojavand, Fizuli and Gabrielstore areas”.

The defense Ministry of Azerbaijan noted that “units of the armed forces of Azerbaijan had taken adequate retaliatory measures”.

Note that Armenia, in turn, accuses Azerbaijan of escalating tensions.

So, in the statement of the Armenian foreign Ministry said that “despite appeals of the international community … implemented by the Azerbaijani side last night the attempted attack on the line of contact between Artsakh and Azerbaijan is a further setback to Baku’s efforts … for a peaceful settlement of the Karabakh problem”.
