At Poltava, scientists have discovered a mysterious discovery

Archaeologists have found in the Poltava region until the skeleton of the unknown animal.

In a field near the village of Yerystivka from Horishni Floodplains archaeological sites of the Dnieper-Selskoy early expedition.

After the initial exploratory research, the scientists came to the conclusion that this place was some sort of settlement or asylum, told the Ltava head of the expedition Yuri Bashkatov.

“On the area in hectares has been identified a rather strange anomaly, a large oval, like a fenced moat. It is possible that it served as the place in the event of any trouble to hide”, – said the expert.

Work continued for several days, during which time scientists were able to find some household items – pottery shards, a chisel on wood. “In addition to elements of everyday life, looks interesting enough discovery of the skeleton of the unknown animal”, – says Yuri Bashkatov.

Rather, it is a pet of medium size, but accurate verdict will be known only after experts fully dug up a skeleton. Archaeological work will continue until the end of August.
