Another Ukrainian movie nominated for “Oscar”

On “Oscar” will qualify three Ukrainian film.

21 September it became known that Slovakia was nominated for the prestigious award in the category “Best foreign film” of the Ukrainian-Slovak film “the verge”.

In the scenario of the crime Thriller became a true story that took place on Slovak-Ukrainian border in the summer of 2007. It is shown through the prism of the lives of families involved in organized smuggling. The shooting of the film took place on the territory of Ukraine, Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The painting was financed by and at the expense of the state budget of Ukraine. The film has already been honored with several international awards.
