Mark Zuckerberg said that as a child created a chat network ZuckNet
It seems that the story of the creation of technological products mark Zuckerberg (Mark Zuckerberg) is significantly longer than previously thought, the audience.
Founder and CEO of Facebook, living in new York at the age of 10-12 years, created the live chat service for his family and his father’s dental practice.
“The dental office of my father was connected with our home, — said Mr. Zuckerberg in a recent podcast with entrepreneur and early Facebook investor Reid Hoffman (Reid Hoffman). The dentists and hygienists need to exchange information about patients. So I created a system by which the father could have contact with colleagues in different offices and also to be in touch with me and my sisters on the floor above — I called it ZuckNet.
In fact it was our small network inside the house Zuckerberg, and it was fun. She was something of a precursor to various ideas relating to social softwares that I have researched over time, but very, very early. And soon, of course, there was AOL Instant Messenger and everyone started to use it.”
The irony is that AOL eventually was driven out of the market, yet another creation of Mark Zuckerberg: Facebook. Currently the largest social network in the world is developing two messenger, Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, each of which has more than 1.2 billion active users worldwide.
