LDPR leader Vladimir Zhirinovsky supported the position of his son, the Vice-speaker of the state Duma from party of the liberal-Democrats Igor Lebedev, who spoke in favor of abortion in case of detection of pathology. On Wednesday, September 13.
As you know, on Lebedev in comments posted on the social network Twitter video in which the girl without hands, he eats with his feet, and said, “Why are these children allowed to be born, because it’s torture, not life?! Modern medicine defines pathology in advance.” This caused a public outcry.
Zhirinovsky immediately interceded for the son. He believes that pathology can lead people in the future to destruction.
“We have to save humanity,” he told reporters.
According to Zhirinovsky, the mother of the child, which found the pathology, to decide whether to give birth to it. But at the same time, he hinted at an abortion.
“The mother decides to give birth or not. But I am sure that in most cases comes abortion and the next pregnancy are born healthy child”, – the politician noted.
“If you are compassionate, take the disabled child from an orphanage and nurture. A large queue I did not notice”, – said Zhirinovsky.
