Zakharova accused Ukraine of military provocations

Lavrov also said that the recent “provocations of Kiev” in Donbas show that the Ukrainian government “turns the situation into a dead end.”

Ukrainian authorities carried out military provocations to maintain interest in Ukraine in the United States.

This was stated by the official representative of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova, the TV channel NTV.

“What will happen to Ukraine, because it was the Central theme of the agenda of the previous administration (of the United States. – ed.)? Under it were given the money, that was given to hundreds of millions, which is not clear in whose pockets have settled. Than it is possible to extend this interest in Ukraine? Reforms? They need to carry out. Achievements? They need to achieve. Only by military provocations, which hit quick, hit the people, it is possible to keep the Ukraine afloat,” she said.
