YouTube introduces paid subscriptions for channels that have over 100 thousand subscribers. As stated in the message, a subscription and asked to introduce a video-bloggers as their only source of earnings on the platform was advertising. The authors of the channels will not get all the profit from subscriptions, and only 70% after deduction of sales tax. However, YouTube takes care of the Commission for conducting transactions, in particular credit cards. This example was followed by the company Facebook. According to the website TechCrunch, they have launched a paid feature groups in test mode. In order to access the content in these communities, users will have to pay from $5 to $30 per month.
The owners of social networks believe that this functionality will motivate the administrators group to create unique content. In the near future the innovation will be tested in a limited number of communities and, if the experiment proves successful, will make this opportunity available to the public.
