“Yanukovych’s debt”: the High court in London extended the deadline for filing an appeal

London’s high court extended the appeal of Ukraine for 14 days.

Ukraine will appeal the decision of the High court of London on the debt dispute between Ukraine and Russia on Euro bonds of $3 billion until June 23.

About it reports the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

“At the meeting, which was held in the English court on may 26, 2017, judge Blair extended the appeal of Ukraine for 14 days (from 9 June 2017 23 June 2017). Accordingly, the documents on the appeal in the extended time period”, – is spoken in the message.

We will remind, on March 29, the High court of London approved the accelerated consideration of the claim of Russia to Ukraine of Eurobonds for $3 billion, the Judge rejected all the arguments of the Ukrainian side, including those removed from Russia’s accusations of political pressure on Ukraine.

Kiev intends to challenge the decision of the High court of London. The court gave permission to appeal.
