There is a popular pastime in Russia: criticize the case (and worst) horror movies. Concretize: to abuse RUSSIAN horror films. Nothing to hide, and filmmakers recognize that a few people still managed to shoot anything decent in the genre in our country, and critics and audiences even more so. That is, trying to remove the horror was, is, and – I hope! – will, but even the most successful of them in a commercial sense is far from ideal in the sense of art.
What’s the problem? Bad actors? Bad Directors? Useless scripts? Funny to tears by the special effects?.. Seems to lack any. What to do with it – that is the question. How to fix the situation? Well, for starters, might want to understand that could our filmmakers are the worst. And for this let’s try to figure out which domestic horror films made over the past 10-15 years, we can assume THE worst.
