From 1 January 2018 “minimal” in Ukraine will increase to 523 of the hryvnia.
From 1 January 2018, the minimum wage in Ukraine increased by 523 UAH – UAH 3723.
It is provided in the state budget for 2018.
“Set in 2018, the minimum wage: monthly amount: from January 1 – 3723 hryvnia; in the hourly rate: from January 1 – 22,41 UAH”, – the document says.
The document envisages that in 2018 the level of ensuring the minimum subsistence level for assigning assistance according to the Law of Ukraine “On state social assistance to needy families” in the ratio to the subsistence minimum for basic social and demographic groups is: for able-bodied persons – 21%, for children – 85 percent, for persons who lost working capacity, and disabled – 100% of the corresponding subsistence minimum. The size of state social assistance to low-income families in 2018 can not be more than 75 percent of the level of subsistence for the family.

The subsistence minimum per person per month from 1 January 2018 will be 1 700, 1 July – 1 777 UAH, from December 1 – UAH 1 853.
In Ukraine from 1 January 2017, the minimum wage rose to RS 3200.
