On the grass courts of London came to the end of the first week of the Championships, Wimbledon – women decided all participants of the 1/8 finals.
The struggle at the Wimbledon continues eight players of the top 10 sowing. Dropped only the third racket of the world Carolina Pliskova, who lost the offender Lesia Tsurenko, Magdalena Rybarikova and eighth seeded Dominika Cibulkova, which in the 1/8 finals didn’t let Ana Groom.
Only three supernumerary 1/8 finals of Wimbledon are seeded players – this is the aforementioned Rybarikova and Groom, as well as the ex-first racket of the world Victoria Azarenka, who before Wimbledon resumed her career after a year’s maternity leave.
