Wilder will fight with the formidable Cuban

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has learned the name of his next opponent.

Following the emergence of Wilder will take place on 4 November in the arena “Barclays Center” in new York, and beat 31-year-old American champion, former “interim” WBA champion Luis Ortiz.

Wilder and Ortiz on two held 65 fights in which he won 65 victories, including 60 by knockout. Both fighters are in the top 5 best heavyweights in the authoritative version of the portal “BoxRec”.

For the Wilder fight with 38-year-old Ortiz will be the main test of their strength before a potential unification fight with the owner of the titles WBA, IBF and IBO Anthony Joshua, who in April of current year has finished career of Vladimir Klitschko.

Wilder in a fight with Ortiz will hold the seventh defense of his title. The world champion under version WBC “Bronze bomber” was in the beginning of 2015 after defeating bermana Stiverne by unanimous decision.

Deontay Wilder in his last fight in February this year dealt with Gerald Washington, Luis Ortiz in the end of last year, he knocked out little-known David Allen.
