The biggest compensation is based on former officials and military.
The highest unemployment benefit (6400 UAH) in Ukraine can count former government officials and military personnel.
This was stated by the acting Chairman of the State employment service Valery Yaroshenko.
According to him, the minimum size of unemployment benefits in Ukraine is UAH 544 per month. This amount gets about a quarter of the registered unemployed. If the person worked only six months a year, you can count on 1160 UAH (April 2017 — 1280 UAH). It’s another third of unemployed Ukrainians.
“Most of the social insurance Fund, the unemployed can receive up to 6400 UAH per month, but such is typed in less than 3% of the number of those who stand at the labor exchange. It is usually abbreviated officials, who had high official salaries, military and so on. The average payout is now 2100 UAH,” — said Yaroshenko.
