Elderly Australian fisherman escaped with minor injuries after directly to him in the boat out of the water jumped a great white shark, three meters long.
73-year-old Terry Sellwood fished in the sea near the town of Evans head in New South Wales in the East. Suddenly over the side of his boat jumped the great white shark. The blow of its fin knocked the fisherman off his feet and cut his hand.
Boat length was only 4.5 meters, and a three-metre shark took almost all of its space. The man managed to get to radio to call rescuers, who after some time took Selwood with the boat and took him to the hospital. Then the rescuers went back for the body of the shark, which at that time had to die.
According to Selwood over 60 years of fishing had never seen anything like that.
