Not many people can afford to go on expensive seaside resorts in France, Italy or Spain.

We have made a selection of five budget alternatives and calculated your budget for the week. The choice is yours!

Montenegro, Petrovac

Petrovac is a small tourist town in Montenegro, located 17 km from Budva. The hallmark of the city became a cozy Bay surrounded by mountains and pine forests. Of all Montenegrin resort towns, Petrovac is the most affordable, uncrowded and family. Despite this, the town has many cafes and restaurants, and for nightlife lovers there are several large clubs under the open sky. History buffs travel to the small churches of the 14th century, and the old Venetian fortress Castello. Possible difficulties with the purchase of Souvenirs, because in Montenegro they are almost there – just expensive decorative hats, t-shirts, bottles and plates. Delicacy is considered to be the Montenegrin cured meat, which adds to the pizza and lasagna. A large selection of seafood, especially the red mussels.

Latvia, Liepaja

Liepaja is the younger brother of Jurmala – the famous resort on the Baltic coast. Liepaja is also known as the “city where the wind is born”, possibly because of the constant sea breeze. Commercial port made this small village is the third largest and important city in Latvia. The resort is famous not only for clean sea, but also a rich historical heritage. Almost completely preserved buildings of the classical period, the cobbled streets and merchant houses. The Latvian national cuisine is delicious and strange, many dishes use fish: herring, sprat and Baltic herring.

Portugal, Madeira

“The island of eternal spring” or “the pearl of the Atlantic” is the island of Madeira resort capital Funchal. There is a real Paradise for lovers of fishing, surfing and diving. To reach the island by flight to Lisbon, then a flight by local airlines to Funchal. On the island the rocky coastline and the beaches almost none. But there are pebble beaches and the specially equipped stairs in the rocks. Madeira is an abundance of exotic fruits (passion fruit, avocado, mango), as well as a large selection of seafood from crabs to clams. Try the local wine, Madeira, 19-20 degrees of strength, which you drink as an aperitif or digestif. The average temperature of air and water in the summer months ranges from 22 to 25 degrees.

Albania, Saranda

Saranda is a small resort town with a pebbly beaches, washed by the Ionian sea. The nearest neighbor Saranda was the Greek island of Corfu. Saranda is clean beaches and peaceful seaside holiday with comfortable accommodation and plenty of shops and cafes. Olive oil from this region is considered one of the best in the world for quality and taste. The main attraction of Saranda are the ruins of the ancient city of Butrint, which became a Museum-reserve. Albanian national cuisine includes lots of seafood with fresh vegetables on the grill is a useful and quite inexpensive. The national currency in Albania is Albanian Lek, the exchange rate to Russian ruble: 1 Lek = 0.51 RUB

Bulgaria, Sozopol

The ancient Bulgarian resort town Sozopol was founded by the Greeks in 6 century BC on the Black sea. Now the resort of Sozopol is a favorite place of Bohemians: actors, artists, musicians – all thanks to the romantic atmosphere created by ancient white houses with red tiles, narrow streets and sandy beaches with Fig and grape groves. A few kilometers from the resort is located is the largest island on the Bulgarian black sea – St. Ivan island. National cuisine will surprise you with delicious combinations of vegetables, herbs and dairy products, for example, a cold soup made from fermented milk yoghurt with fresh cucumbers – replaced chattering.
