More expensive cars

This is due to the increase in the rates of utilization fee. This decree was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The maximum increase occurs in the segment of passenger cars and average 110.7 percent. While much will depend on the capacity of the particular vehicle. So, for cars with an engine capacity of less than one liter, the fee will increase by 46.1 per cent, for vehicles with an engine capacity from 3.5 liters — 145 percent.

For the mass segment of cars with an engine of 1-2 litres — the collection will grow by 112.4 percent.

The government is considering increasing the recycling fee as a compensatory measure after the reduction of customs duties on imported cars. According to participants of the market, all the dealers will be forced to raise prices, which, by the way, in 2019 was low because of falling demand.

At the same time, the Ministry of industry and trade do not expect a sharp rise in the price of the car. They said that to keep the price of Russian cars would help the state support measures, and the imported share of index utilization fee is only two to five percent.

In Russia until recently, the laws did not define what is organic or “organic”products, so manufacturers simply used the mark to attract the attention of consumers.
