Nausea may occur with indigestion, viruses, unpleasant smells or stress.
Here are some simple ways to help relieve this unpleasant condition.
1. Don’t go
When you lie down, stomach acid can rise through the esophagus, increasing the feeling of nausea and discomfort. Because of this, I do not advise to lie down immediately after eating, especially if you suffer from acid reflux. Also, avoid squeezing the stomach muscles to do not squeeze the stomach. If you feel sick, sit down and move as little as possible.
2. Open a window or sit in front of a fan
This will remove myself from unpleasant odors and distracted. Fresh air eases nausea. That is why those who have motion sickness, try to lean out the window.
3. Make a cold compress
Nausea may have a fever. For a few minutes put on the back of the neck a cold compress. This will help to reduce the temperature and calm the nausea.
4. Breathe deeply
This is especially useful if the nausea is caused by stress or anxiety. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold your breath for three seconds and slowly exhale. Repeat a few times.
5. Take a break
The more you think about nausea the worse I feel. Try to be distracted by a book or a film. If you’re at work, take a few deep breaths, and then take care of business, which has long been delayed, such as report writing.
6. Drink plenty of fluids
Nausea can be a symptom of dehydration but if you drink a lot of fluid at one time, the discomfort will only intensify. Drink in small SIPS throughout the day. If plain water is not thirsty, drink water with slices of fruit or tea without caffeine.

Chamomile — known folk remedy for nausea. In addition, it calms and helps me sleep. Pour a tablespoon of chamomile flowers Cup boiling water, steep five minutes and drink.

Lemon contains good for digestion citric acid. If nausea caused by constipation, warm water with lemon juice will help to stimulate the bowel. Just do not overdo it — an excessive amount of citric acid may enhance nausea.
Even the smell of lemon helps to get rid of nausea. Smell the essential oil or just fresh sliced lemon.

Ginger has antiemetic properties. For nausea, eat a small piece of fresh or candied ginger or drink some tea with him.

Take peppermint capsules or drink mint tea. The smell of essential oil or fresh mint leaves also helps to relieve the nausea.
11. Do not drink sodas
Gases in these drinks can cause bloating and sour belching. And the abundance of sugar in them will only exacerbate the nausea. If in addition to fizzy drink nothing, wait until he comes out of Gaza, and only then drink.
12. Don’t eat heavy food
Usually, to recover from nausea suggest to eat bananas, rice, applesauce. You can also eat some pasta without sauce, mashed potatoes, boiled eggs. Refrain from fried, dairy, meat and foods rich in fiber, until the nausea passes.
If nausea is accompanied by other symptoms, consult your doctor. For example, nausea and chest pain can be a symptom of a heart attack. And nausea and severe headache or dizziness can indicate problems with the nervous system.
