A family doctor can monitor pregnancy and uncomplicated to observe a healthy child under the age characteristics and needs. As well as provide separate services for palliative care. For example, to assess the degree of pain, to prescribe and write prescriptions for narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances for treatment of pain syndrome.
The family doctor prescribes a medication and writes prescriptions, which including it is possible to obtain drugs on the program of reimbursement of drugs.
Among free studies that will be able to make the Ukrainians after medical reform, – the General analysis of blood leukocyte formula; blood glucose; total cholesterol; urine tests; electrocardiogram (ECG) at rest; smear microscopy; rapid tests for HIV, viral hepatitis, syphilis.
Free emergency medical care, particularly for patients with heart attack, stroke, appendicitis, after an accident or personal injury.
