Walker made a loud statement about the future of the Russian Federation

American diplomat his vision of the situation in Russia.

Sunday, August 27, the Financial Times published an interview with US special envoy in Ukraine with Kurt Volker. He said that Russian-American relations will “limp until then, not yet allowed Ukrainian problem.”

“Relations between Russia and the US are important, but the Ukrainian issue continues to hurt them… Russia wants to freeze the situation in the Donbass, but in this case, Moscow will have to accept its international isolation. The country may be ejected from the system of diplomatic and economic relations. This is clearly not what is wanted in Russia”, — said Walker.

He confirmed that Washington is “seriously discussing” the possibility of sending Kiev lethal defensive weapons. While Walker stressed that the last word in this matter remains with the President of the United States Donald trump.
