The US special envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker confirmed a meeting with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov. About this he wrote on Twitter.
According to him, the meeting first be discussed with the Minsk agreement.
“Will meet with his Russian counterpart on October 7 in Belgrade to discuss how to stimulate the implementation of the Minsk (Minsk agreements. – Ed.) and to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine,” wrote Walker.
As reported, on August 21 in Minsk, the first meeting with Volcker and Surkov. They discussed the settlement of the conflict in the Donbas.
After negotiations, Surkov said that the meeting with Walker was “useful and constructive”.
