Completed the 18th stage of the 72nd version of the Spanish race.
Sander Armagh made it successfully in isolation, then together with Alexey Lutsenko and Julian Alaphilippe ran away from fellow travelers. A few kilometers before the finish Lutsenko and Armagh total effort dropped the threat of the Belgian wheel. On the final steep part of the Agency without problems escaped from Kazakh tired and went to meet his main career victory.
Christopher froome at the end of the 18th stage, increased his lead from Vincenzo nibali to 1 minute and 37 seconds. The British helped Alberto Contador, who at the end of the stage went on the attack, answer that Nibali couldn’t.
