The Volvo XC60 will be available with two-liter petrol and diesel engines, as well as with 407-horsepower hybrid setup.
Volvo has started the serial production of the XC60 crossover new generation, which premiered in March at the Geneva motor show. The first commercial white car rolled off the Assembly line at the plant in the Swedish city of Torslanda.
The crossover became the fourth Volvo model, built on a modular platform SPA. The novelty will replace in the lineup the automaker’s previous-generation XC60, which for the nine years of production sold in Europe with a circulation of nearly one million copies.
Gamma motor new Volvo XC60 include two diesel and two petrol engine capacity of two liters. Units with “heavy fuel” D4 and D5 are developing the 190 and 235 HP, respectively. The petrol range is represented by the T5 engine capacity of 254 HP and 320-strong unit T6 with turbo and supercharger drive. Transmission – eight-speed automatic.
In addition, the crossover will be available with a hybrid power plant, created on the basis of the two-liter gasoline engine paired with electric motor. Total return units is 407 horsepower. This crossover is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and its top speed is 230 km per hour.
The cost of Volvo XC60 new generation is not yet known.
