Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR have increased in power
VW Group has introduced a facelift of the racing version of the charged hatchback Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.
The novelty has received not only a new design in the style of standard Golf 2018 model year, but also upgraded the engine more power.
A new racing version of the famous Course presented at the international tuning fair in Essen. It will be shown on the stand of the producer until 10 December of the current year.
Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR 2018 received increased downforce, improved cooling of the engine and transmission and a smaller aerodynamic resistance of the body. Compared with the conventional Golf GTI body version of the track extended to 400 millimeters.
The engineers have modernized two-liter petrol turbo. Its output increased to 345 horsepower and 420 Nm of torque. Now the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h lasts only 5.2 seconds.
The estimated cost of the new Golf GTI TCR 2018 90,000 Euro.
