Phideon PHEV will be the first hybrid model in the VW, which will be produced in China.
At the Shanghai auto show debuted a new version of the flagship Volkswagen Phideon that the Chinese market has become the successor model of the Phaeton.
It’s a hybrid modification of the PHEV with the possibility of charging from the external network.
From the usual Phideon novelty can be distinguished by the wheel discs of special design and C-shaped led lights, integrated into front bumper (in the style of the Golf GTE) and GTE badge.
The composition of a hybrid power-plant of a sedan came in two-liter petrol “turboservice”, single motor and set of batteries. Claimed fuel consumption is 2.3 liters per 100 kilometers, the maximum cruising range on one tank is 850 kilometers.
The driver can choose from three driving modes, one of which — move solely on electric. From the external network, the battery can be recharged in about two hours.
In the vehicle hybrid sedan will enter a premium sound system, head-up display and a multimedia system with a 9.2-inch screen.
