“Vkontakte” closed the office in Kiev

A legal entity in Ukraine under sanctions, so the office was closed.

The administration is blocked in Ukraine, the Russian social network “Vkontakte” closed Kiev office.

This was reported by press Secretary of the Ukrainian office of “Vkontakte” Vlad Legotkin.

Earlier, the Supreme administrative court refused to deem illegal the decree of the President of Petro Poroshenko about the ban in Ukraine the Russian social networks.

We will remind, the President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree on the application of economic and other sanctions to some Russian companies, in particular Mail.Ru, “Vkontakte” and “Classmates”. On 17 may an order to block Russian websites came into force.
