Vitaly Kozlovsky justified for concert in Moscow

Ukrainian singer is not the first time tries to explain why she decided to perform at the concert dedicated to the Victory Day in Moscow.

Speaking on may 9 in Moscow, Ukrainian singer Vitaly Kozlovsky said that admits his “biggest mistake”. He told about it in interview to “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Ukraine” reports the Chronicle.Info with reference to Browser.

According to him, he just wanted to pay tribute to, and did not intend to offend the dignity of Ukrainians.

“I was invited to Moscow, and every time I flatly refused, despite the attractive fees. But allowed myself to go on may 9th. I’ll explain why. My grandfather fought during the Second world war, participated in battles on the territory of present-day Russia, and from childhood I was told stories about how life was after the war, as people were happy to-Day that, in 1945. Previously, every year we with the grandfather went to the parade. So for this holiday, I have always had a special relationship,” – said Kozlovsky.

However, he assured that this situation was necessary for him to understand that the artist is not only creative, but above all conscious citizen of his country.

“This speech I thought was only possible as a tribute, but in no way wanted to offend the act of his countrymen,” concluded the singer.
