A new poster of the series in an obvious way refers to the iconic “Nightmare on elm street” Wes Craven. Instead of gloves Freddy’s — paw Demogorgon, is Nancy Thompson

Nancy Wheeler. And the original slogan “If Nancy doesn’t Wake up screaming, don’t Wake up at all” was changed to

If Nancy won’t kill Demogorgon, it will come to you.

Well, or something like that.

The series of “Very strange things” from the very beginning was a kind of anthem of nostalgia for science fiction and horror from the 80s, so this nod to Wes Craven looks quite natural.

In autumn we are waiting for the second season, tells about the adventures of small boys and a very strange girl named Eleven.

In the yard in 1984, and the inhabitants of Hawkins, Indiana, almost recovered from the horror of Demogorgon, and secrets that are harbored laboratory Martin Brenner. But really if will Byers was saved, whether he was able to completely leave the “Opposite direction”?
