Barcelona’s official website confirmed the appointment of 53-year-old Valverde. The Spanish press reports that the former coach of Athletic Bilbao has signed with the Catalans a contract for 2+1.
The post of chief coach of “Barcelona” Valverde was replaced by Luis Enrique, which “blaugas” did not renew the contract. A legacy of Valverde Enrique left the place in the group stage of the Champions League and the opportunity in August to compete with real Madrid for the Spanish super Cup.
