Valve is working on three new games

All three projects are full-fledged games.

The creators of Half-Life series work in parallel on several new games.

“Now we are working on three games for virtual reality. And when I say that we are working on three games, I mean three full games, not pilot projects,” — said Newell.

On what games Valve is working remains a mystery, but it is possible that among them may receive a continuation of one of the episodes of the Studio, such as the long-awaited game Half-Life 3. By the way, Newell said that before the developers developed a version of Half-Life and Team Fortress 2 to virtual reality. But these projects were never planned to release in the public domain.

“The first thing we did was launched Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress with glasses virtual reality. It was new, but was created only for developers in these projects was nothing interesting. For these games no one would buy virtual reality glasses as well as can not buy points in order to watch movies”.

In the interview Newell also told the reasons why the company bypasses the console.
