Poroshenko promises that this year’s upgraded tanks going to ATO zone.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that already this year in the area of conducting ATO will be sent the updated tanks hold.
In addition, according to him, the funding of military weapons in three years increased 10 times.
“The first Oplot production Kharkov plant will go to APU this year. This is our response to the wishes of the Ukrainian tank”, – said Poroshenko.
He also added that by 2017, the financing of the army from the state budget has allocated 64 billion hryvnia.
“Moreover, in July, due to the returned funds, who stole the power of Yanukovych, we have added 1 billion 600 million hryvnias which will go towards the purchase and upgrading of new models of weapons and military equipment. Another billion 400 million UAH will be directed for the construction of a munitions factory on the basis of high technologies”, – said the President.
He also said that in three years the state concern Ukroboronprom, transferred to the arms of the Ukrainian army of 16 thousand units of military equipment.
