Unknown vandals desecrated a statue of the Mother of God in Lviv

Inadequate people had no taste, the creation of local architects.

In Lviv, in the Square of Dignity in the residential district of Sykhiv, vandals damaged the sculpture of the Mother of God. This was reported in the press service of the Lviv city Council.

At the time the sculpture will be kept in the Church of the Nativity of the blessed virgin.

“The sculpture was concreted, it was dismantled for restoration. Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary agreed to the sculpture remained in the Temple until the time of its recovery. We will also contact the police to law enforcement authorities found the attackers,” – said acting Chairman Sychevskiy RA Volodymyr Ivasyuk.
