Unknown threw a few tomatoes at German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Heidelberg, where she delivered a speech as part of its election campaign.
A few splashes of tomato got on the suit Merkel and the leader who was standing next to her. The Chancellor responded calmly and gave a leading handkerchief.
The incident occurred at the end of the event on the University campus, when Merkel has already finished his speech.
The police confirmed the information about the two tomatoes that are thrown in the direction of the scene. The person who threw the tomato, is still unknown.
