In the Donetsk region, near the village of Maloyanysol ‘ (St. Nicholas district) in ammunition depots explosions sounded. The incident occurred on Friday, September 22, at 16:20.
According to the Ministry of defense of Ukraine, the warehouses were located near the settlement Novoyanysol ‘ (about 34 km from Mariupol).
“There has been a rollover of the flame on the territory of a military warehouse of one of military units stationed in the district, resulting in on the object on fire. Now comes the evacuation of personnel and taking steps to contain the fire,” – said the Agency.
To clarify the circumstances of the accident at the scene directed operational group of officers of the defense Ministry and the General staff of the armed forces of Ukraine headed by the Deputy Minister of defence of Ukraine.
