“Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to divide the train into three classes

Railway Ministry plans to regulate the price of the ticket for the train.

Until the end of summer “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to divide the train into three classes – comfort, standard and economy.

This was announced by the head of Department of passenger transportations of distant following “uz” Alexander Krasnoshtan.

He noted that to date, “Ukrzaliznytsya” is in the final stages of agreeing changes with the Ministry of Infrastructure.

“The idea is that if a passenger buys a train ticket comfort class, he will get a new car (lifetime up to 10 years), toilets, air conditioning, etc. It will be a complete package. We assume that the train comfort class will only compartment and SV-wagons. Route speed of such trains would be less than 70 km/hour, it will be the most convenient arrival time of trains”, – he said.

“In trains of the type standard will be allowed compartment good level, air-conditioned, with toilets. These trains will have a speed less than 70 km/h. In economy trains are older than cars, perhaps the lack of toilets and the air conditioning,” said Krasnoshtan.

Speaking about the cost of the ticket, the chief of Department of passenger transport long-distance TIES noted that the railway Ministry plans to regulate the price of the ticket for the train class comfort and standard, and the regulation of prices on the train economy class to leave the state.
