“Ukrzaliznytsya” is looking for investors for reconstruction of railway stations

Also planned large-scale reconstruction of railway station infrastructure

Ukrzaliznytsia wants to attract private investors for operating passenger stations in Ukraine. This was stated by acting Chairman of the Board of “Ukrainian Railways” Evgeny Kravtsov.

According to him, the company in the framework of such cooperation the company intends to conduct a large-scale reconstruction of the station infrastructure. “We plan to work on public-private partnership in the reconstruction of passenger stations. In fact, today we have a big infrastructure of the station management. The perspective is to attract private investors to operate stations”, – said Kravtsov.

Recall, “Ukrzaliznytsya” will be installed on railway stations terminals ticket. The first terminals will be installed at the Central railway station of the capital. In addition, although the application for the purchase of train tickets online will be available on the operating system IOS.
