The company has already started looking for investors.
“Ukrzaliznytsia” (UZ) plans to attract private investors for operating passenger stations in Ukraine. This was stated by the acting Chairman of the management Board of ULTRASONIC Evgeny Kravtsov.
According to him, “Ukrzaliznytsya” in the context of this cooperation, intends to conduct a large-scale reconstruction of the station infrastructure.
“We plan to work on public-private partnership in the reconstruction of passenger stations. Today we have a big infrastructure of the station management. The perspective is to attract private investors to operate stations”, — said Kravtsov.
Recall, “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to introduce e-ticket for journey in trains as well as single ticket for rail and road vehicles. For this purpose, according to Kravtsova, US is already negotiating with the banks.
“Ukrzaliznytsya” has repeatedly stated that increases the demands for passenger comfort and extends the list of services. For example, US promised to gradually replace all the linen and other equipment in the passenger trains. The carrier also planned to introduce the service of hot meals at night trains.
