Ukrzaliznytsia introduces new rules: what will change for passengers

We introduce a single ticket for trains and buses.

Public joint stock company “Ukrzaliznytsya” plans to introduce a single ticket for trains and trucks, and a large number of electronic services. This was announced by acting Chairman of the Board of PJSC Evgeny Kravtsov, says the press service of the company.

“It is planned that a single ticket will operate on trains and buses – this will be especially useful for travelling the resort towns of our country.

For example, passenger can buy one ticket to travel from Kiev to Ivan-Frankivsk by train, and from there by bus to the ski resort Bukovel”, – he said.

Also the head of “UZ” stated that next year customers will be offered the option of online purchase of tickets for all trains in the countries of the European Union and on regional trains. Also be implemented online reservation of additional services, which is provided by “Ukrzaliznytsya”, says Kravtsov.

“Increase the list of online services will contribute to the prevention of corruption in the passenger sector, as it will prevent resale of tickets”, he added.

Recall, “Ukrzaliznytsya” on 12 October announced the introduction of a new service – nutrition in night trains.
