100% of shares belong to the state.
Ukrainian state enterprise of postal communication “Ukrposhta” 1 March has become a public company, reported on the website of the company.
The state Registrar has approved all necessary documents and articles of Association. Thus, the process of reorganization is completed.
“Corporatization will enable the post office to create an independent Council and to attract financial partners for their investment projects. However, shares of the company will be fully owned by the state, because the post office is in the list of strategic enterprises of the country”, – stated in the message of the company.
PJSC “Ukrposhta” is the successor UGPPS “Ukrposhta”.
The company is the national postal operator of Ukraine. “Ukrposhta” exists as a separate entity since 1994. Now it has over 12 thousand sites, more than 73 thousand employees. From July 2016, “Ukrposhta” heads chosen at the contest General Director Igor Smelyansky who has experience in leading international consulting companies.
