Rates will increase next year.

About this informed the head of the National Union of journalists (NUJU) Sergey Tomilenko on his page in Facebook.

According to Tomilenko, the state monopoly many problems of economic and organizational nature. Members of the NUJU met with the leadership of the Department to discuss problems with the delivery of Newspapers to readers. First Deputy Director General “Ukrpochta” Alexander Chernyavsky said that they have economic difficulties because of the “depreciation Fund, increase in the level of minimum wages, loss of rural branch network and state regulation of tariffs”.

Judging by the announced plans, on average, for delivery of one copy every six months you have to pay 10 cents more expensive, starting from the second half of 2018. “This proposal NUJU considered the option of a moratorium on the review of shipping rates and regional editions of the zone ATO, – wrote Tomilenko.

Judging by the published scheme of increase of tariffs, “Ukrposhta” will be released on the profitability by the beginning of 2019. Now the all-Ukrainian profitability is -22,5%, and on areas -31,7%, that is, “Ukrposhta” delivers periodicals to the detriment of themselves. At higher shipping rates will rise accordingly and the price of periodicals to readers.
