In “Ukravtodor” there is no information regarding the condition of the roads in the temporarily occupied territory.
The state Agency of highways of Ukraine (“Ukravtodor”) informed how it will act in Ukraine in the case of claims to Russia as the aggressor country for the destroyed infrastructure in the occupied territories.
This was announced by the acting Deputy of “Ukravtodor” Alexander Kharchenko in response to the request to “Commander in chief”.
“As to the claims of the Russian Federation, the implementation mechanism of protection of rights and interests of Ukraine determined the Order of implementation the protection of rights and interests of Ukraine during the settlement of disputes consideration in the foreign jurisdictions in cases of uchastiem a foreign entity and Ukraine, the approved presidential decree of June 25, 2002 №581” – said the official.
According to him, for today of service of highways in Donetsk and Lugansk areas from-for antiterrorist operations unable to conduct a survey of public roads in the temporarily occupied territory.
“In “Ukravtodor” there is no information regarding the condition of the roads in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions”, – said in response.
In addition, Kharchenko stressed that in 2014 (after the annexation of Crimea), his office does not monitor the situation with the roads of the Peninsula, and road Service in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol were seized from the network of recipients of budgetary funds “Ukravtodor”.
In 2016, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Kistion said that the rehabilitation of roads in Donetsk and Lugansk regions should be about 7 bln.
As previously reported, the “Ukravtodor” plans to create a black list of contractors of road works.
