Ukrainians won 26 medals at the European Championships in summer sports

The national team of Ukraine took eighth place in the medal standings of the joint European championship on summer sports.

In the championship of Europe in Berlin received the athletics and Glasgow were continental tournaments, water sports, sports and rhythmic gymnastics, rowing, triathlon, Golf and Cycling.

Athletics

From the German capital, Ukrainian athletes took 7 medals (2-3-2). Champions of the continent are Marian Sokolnicki (walking 50 km) and Natalia Prischepa (running at 800 metres). Step away from the gold stopped Maryna Bekh (long jump), Anna Ryzhikova (run on 400 m hurdles) and Alina Zvili (walking 50 km), and Olga Lyakhova (running at 800 metres) and Sergey Nikiforov (long jump) won the bronze dignity award.

Water

The jumping Champions of the continent are Oleg Kolodiy and Sofia Liskun ahead of duos from Germany and Russia. And synchronized swimming Ukrainka won gold in combination.

Cycling
