Ukrainians will be able to see an unusual meteor shower

Admire the unusual phenomenon can be anywhere in our planet.

The planet expects the Leonids meteor shower. The active period of the brightest meteor shower this year falls on 17 November. Admire the unusual phenomenon you can make a wish from anywhere in the world. Importantly, the sky was cloudless.

“The bright collision of cosmic proportions, when the path of the Earth and comet Tempel-Tutle intersect. Will be able to watch the show, better known to us as shooting stars. “This meteor shower has been observed for a long time. It consists of small particles, so they almost all burn up in the atmosphere”, – says head of the sector of astronomy laboratory Metropolitan University Shevchenko Valeriy Klimenok.

The meteor shower got its name not accidentally.

“If you look at the sky, it seems that this meteor shower is heading towards the Earth from the constellation of Leo. And therefore got its name,” explains Alexey Falin.

The peak of the meteor shower falls on a weekend. Astrologer Tatiana Nikolaeva argues that no rules of observation of the meteor shower. Also everyone decides to make a desire, and creates for itself a ritual:

“Our wishes should come true, if it comes from the soul. And if we believe in it.”
