Ukrainians warned of a possible Russian provocations in day of the defender

Hrytsak did not rule out that Russia on October 14 may organize in Ukraine a series of terrorist attacks.

The head of the SBU Vasyl Hrytsak does not exclude that in the Day of defender of Ukraine on October 14 Russia may organize in Ukraine a provocation.He stated this at a briefing, answering a question of journalists about the statements of the Abbot of Kiev-Pechersk Lavra Paul about possible provocations, until the capture of the monastery.

“I’m not surprised the dirtiest provocations that can be developed in Moscow – after all, what we have documented in the past few years,” said Hrytsak.

Speaking about the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Hrytsak said that “information on different levels already goes not the first week”.

“We check this information, we, in principle, understand the situation that exists around the monastery, but it seems to me that in this case the representatives of Lavra doing something rather ahead of the curve, publicize information, then to avoid any insinuations,” – said the head of the SBU.

“Frankly, from themselves and from the SBU, we will do everything to ensure law and order on the streets of the capital and in other regions of our country”, – said Hrytsak.
