Ukrainians promised lower prices on some drugs

Rozenko announced the expansion of the government program “Affordable medicine”.

In Ukraine in 2018 it is planned to expand the government program “Affordable medicine” in this connection is expected to significantly lower prices on medicines. This was stated by Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko.

“We are in the year from April 1 introduced a system of reimbursement for three types of diseases – diabetes, cardiovascular disease and asthma. People receive prescription drugs free, or at minimal cost. We did that, this story is already working,” he said.

According to Rozenko, next year is already more than 5 million people received free medication for this government program.

Earlier, the Ministry of health of Ukraine made the list of undesirable consumption of medication in case of colds or the flu.
