Ukrainian Oleg Petrov is an avid traveler.
The last three years he travels around the world and have already visited 17 countries. Moreover, according to him, free of charge. Men have their own techniques and tricks that help him.
The “observer” talked with Oleg and learned the details of his protracted journey.
The man from Kiev. Profession – artist. He says: “I am a chemist, master of ceremonies, actor, singer, presenter, actor and much more. Dreamed of becoming a traveler, a sailor since childhood!”
He said that the last five years was not easy for him.
“There was almost, I sang on the Revolution, on the Maidan. Badly shaken composure. The time has come to make the dream a reality. His family is not and I did not hold anything in place,” – said Oleg. This was the reason he decided to leave Ukraine.
“I decided to unwind and go for a month or two in the journey. I was thinking to visit Cyprus, Turkey and Georgia – home. But in the process of the journey so got a taste that he decided from Turkey to get to India, and decided not to return at all! In fact, very often going “downwind”, on a whim, change the path, turn, stuck, in no hurry, you go where intuition leads!” – said the traveler.
Oleg visited Cyprus, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Karabakh, Iran, UAE, Oman, Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and other countries.
According to him, he travels mostly by hitchhiking on all modes of transport, even on the tractor.
“I have six times free been on a plane, in a balloon, went on the ferry, a funicular railway, by boat, by train, all free too! Has its own techniques!” – admitted Petrov.
Oleg recounted how he manages to travel without money.
“The money will find me. Don’t have to ask! I learned a lot of new professions. Became a guide, a teacher, a street musician and an artist of original genre, worked in bollywood actor! There are thousands of ways! I invented many!” – he explained.
He admitted that during his travels and has found not only peace, but also learned a lot.
“Worked in bollywood, Thailand, Cyprus, Singapore, finally quit drinking and Smoking, lost 15 pounds, learned new languages, he spoke fluent English, made a lot of novels with foreign women, to develop new musical instruments and professions, and it’s all free! As actually all travels!” he said.
Other travelers Oleg advises to be absolutely confident in achieving their goals, not to tell anyone about their plans and not to look for random passengers.
