Ukrainians have suggested, how to calculate the monthly fee for gas

Most overpaid retirees and vacationers.

Despite the fact that officials claim that after the introduction of the license fee for the use of gas networks, our costs will not increase, simple calculations suggest otherwise. In April, the majority of Ukrainians overpay from 20 to 100 UAH. due to new methods of charging for gas.

We decided to calculate what bills to expect in a month.

How are we going to pay?

In April we get the bills for March, in which everything stays the same, but in may the consumers of gas will receive two receipts. One for gas, and the second for the use of gas networks. Officials claim that after this reform, consumers will be able to choose from whom to buy gas, and it will improve competition. However, when we disappear natural monopoly and there will be competitors – is not clear.

Now we are paying based on the volume of consumption. A cubic meter of gas costs about UAH 6. 88 kopecks, From 1 April the price of gas will reduce by 10% – approximately to 6.08 UAH. per cubic meter. It is calculated in the following way – enter rate of 4.92 UAH./cube, it is multiplied by the marginal trade mark-up and add VAT. These numbers will be used in the payment for gas.

The second payment system for the use of gas networks. Its size will depend on the region in which you live.

We believe the monthly fee

The national Commission on regulation of services in the field of housing issued an official formula to calculate the monthly fee for gas. It looks like this:

Monthly payment = Tariff x (Qmax x 1,0296 x 24 hours x 365 days)/12 months.

Rate – regional rate for each gas.

Qmax – the maximum capacity of the counter. They are labeled G1,6, G2,5, G4 and G6. The number denotes the nominal throughput in cubic meters per hour. However, the tariff takes into account the maximum carrying capacity. Counter G1,6 is 2.5 cubic meters per hour for G2,5 – 4 cubic meters per hour, for G4 – 6 cubic meters per hour and for G6 – 10 cubic meters per hour. If you have the apartment has a stovetop, but there is no meter, the fare will be calculated as if you have a meter type G2,5 with the maximum capacity of 4 cubic meters per hour.

What is most interesting is added to the formula multiplier increases the pressure coefficient, which is equal to 1,0296.

Let’s calculate how much it will cost payment for Kiev. Substitute in the formula the tariff for Kiev 0,01273.

Monthly payment = 0,01273 x 4 x 1,0296 x 24 x 365/12 = 38,27 UAH.

However, there is a caveat. This formula does not take into account VAT. When you consider this tax, that fee will be:

38,27 x 1.2 = 45,92 UAH.

The amount of monthly fee for their settlements can be calculated by using the rates of different gas companies.
