Ukrainian writers Larysa Denysenko, lyubko Deresh, and Mariana Savka became the goodwill ambassadors of the UN in Ukraine.

Goodwill ambassadors and UN messengers of peace is a well-known personalities and prominent figures who dedicate their time to draw public attention to the acute problems of the modern world and uphold the values and ideals of the United Nations in their countries.

Besides the writers, the goodwill ambassadors have also become a journalist Andriy Kulykov, TV anchor Thank Varda, singer Katia chili, philosopher and scholar Mikhail Minakov, the human rights activist Evgeny Zakharov and artist Alevtina Kakhidze.
