Anastasya Zaritskaya at international tournaments will no longer play under the flag of Ukraine.
Citizenship change in a situation Zaritskaya can be called a formality, as 19-year-old tennis player was born in Prague, then in a few years he returned to Ukraine, and at the age of nine moved again to the place of his birth.
“I like the blend of nationalities in my blood, but I’m quite a long time strived to obtain Czech citizenship and is pleased that finally managed to bring this idea to life”, – quotes the words Zaritskaya portal “Tenisovysvet.cz”.
Zaritska was not in the top 15 of the best tennis players of Ukraine. At the moment Anastasia in the WTA rankings is located on the 478-th position.
This season, the former Ukrainian has twice been close to winning tournaments of the ITF series, but lost the decisive matches in Manacor (Spain) and Dijon
(France).
We will remind, earlier Ukraine has lost another professional tennis player Marina Zanevsky changed citizenship in favor of Belgium.
